The College library at present has a collection of about 45,000 books. Every student has to deposit a security of Rs 30/-. The security is refunded every year in the month of June only. The claim for the refund should be accompanied by a "No Demand" certificate from the Librarian and various Text-book sections of the College Departments and it should be made within a reasonable time after leaving the College, but not later than two years in any case. There is a reading room attached to the College Library. About 20 magazines, newspapers and journals etc. are being subscribed for enhancing the general knowledge of the students.

The Library presently observes the same working hours and holidays as the College. It remains open during summer vacation from 8 a.m. to 2.00 p.m.

Every student must present his/her Identity Card while borrowing. Borrowers are responsible for loss or damage and must pay fine plus double the cost of the book.

Lecturers are not allowed to take more than ten books at a time. Staff may not borrow books for students under their own name.

Staff members leaving on transfer/retirement must return all books before "No Demand" certificate is issued.

Students can borrow only two books at a time, including at least one book of the subject taken by them.

Books must be returned within 15 days. Fine is Re 1/- per day per volume, up to double the cost of the book.

Librarian submits a list of fines monthly. Students must pay the fine within seven days or face restriction from classes.

Books required by lecturers must be returned immediately upon receipt of notice from the librarian.

A book cannot be re-borrowed within two days of return. This doesn't apply to lecturers.

Loss or damage requires payment of double the cost. If part of a series, the cost of the entire series must be paid.

Disturbance or talking is strictly prohibited. Infringement will result in punishment or fine.

The Library is meant only for those directly or indirectly connected with the academic life of the College.

Fine realization is managed by the cashier based on the librarian’s monthly report.

Periodicals are for library consultation only and shall not be issued.

Reference books, journals, and rare books are not for removal, except for lecturers with special Principal's permission for one night.

All books must be returned for stock checking in April-May. Librarian reports damages/missing books to the Principal.

Lecturers wishing to retain books during summer vacation must return them during stock checking.

Sleeping, smoking, and spitting etc. are strictly prohibited in the library premises.
